Nadia Chavez Fun Facts

Lt. Commander Nadia Chavez, was a former member of the Guardian Fugitive Retrieval Unit and squad leader on the nationally renowned unit known as 
The Brat Pack.   Nadia comes from a family of civil servants with her mother, father and eight siblings having formally served or currently served as Guardian agents in some capacity.

Currently Nadia is the central figure in what could be a global conspiracy to cover up the abduction, murder and mutilation of several members of her former teammates.  Having suffered extensive cybernetic alterations before escaping her captors, Nadia is currently on hiatus from Guardian service while mastering her current abilities.

Little known info:
 
1. Nadia is a multi-instrumentalist able to play with extreme proficiency:  acoustic/electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic/electric
    piano, mandolin, fiddle, drums, accordion, harmonica and autosharp.

2. Nadia attended every Washington Redskins-Dallas Cowboys game at Texas Stadium from her birth to its' closing.

3. Nadia loss a bet to her teammate Joseph Paxton and is now obligated to name her second male child after a Washington    
    Redskins legend of his choice.

4. At ten years of age, Nadia engaged Country Music legend Charlie Daniels in a fiddle duel on the stage of the Grand Ole    
    Opry.  To this day, she insist she won that duel.

5. Nadia is the second most decorated Fugitive Retrieval agent in United States history.  She trails only her former commander and best friend Joseph Paxton.

6.  Nadia is one of fifteen siblings, 11 of which were adopted.  She considers this matter of very little consequence.

7.  Nadia is a Spinto Soprano with a 4 octave range (C3-C7).

8.  Nadia tattooed a helmet sized Dallas Cowboys star on her back unassisted.  How she did this she has never told.

9.  Nadia turned down over 90 music scholarships to attend Guardian Academy.

10. Nadia was in-charge of giving "nicknames" to all of the members of The Brat Pack.

With that being said, Nadia Chavez is officially dead.  However, "86" survives...

Nadia/86 is currently a cybernetically-enhanced human with the following abilities:  flight at supersonic speeds, energy projection, a personal cloaking field, enhanced senses (radar, sonar, night vision, etc.), enhanced strength, shape-shifting, and sonic disruption.  She has also demonstrated a form of psionic sensitivity that is as yet unexplained.  Due to her Guardian training, Nadia is also an expert marksmen, tracker and tactician.

Obituary for Nadia M. Chavez

   Lt. Commander Nadia M. Chavez (of the) Guardian Fugitive Retrieval Division, died at the age of 23 on Wednesday, November 25th, 2008 in Mexico City, Mexico; apparently the victim of a plane crash due to an unconfirmed electrical malfunction.  She is survived by her parents, Enrique and Lolita Chavez along with 14 siblings: Quinton, Chrystal, Marco, Lucy, Anita, Angel, Michelle, Enrique Jr., Marisa, Xavier, Luciano, William, "Luffy", Nicole and Bonita.  Nadia was raised the middle child of 15 children, 11 of which were adopted.  The Chavez household has a history of civil service dating back to Jorge Chavez, who died in the Texas Revolution at The Battle of the Alamo.  Nadia was the fifth of her siblings to attend Guardian's Preparatory Academy, graduating with honors.  Upon completing Officers Training School, Nadia was assigned to Guardian's legendary "Charlie Company" where she served in its' 3rd platoon as a squad commander, the first of her siblings to achieve that rank.

Nadia was known for her selfless devotion to her teammates, often putting herself in harms way in their defense.  She was a highly decorated officer and was singled out by the President of the United States for her efforts in her teams' capture of mass murderer Adalius Boulware at Jackson Station, Jackson MS in 2006.  More than anything else, Nadia was known for her infectious high spirit, her love of family and friends, and her love for the country she served.  Nadia was laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetary in Houston, Texas.  Her love and the lives she touched will live on forever.
