THE AMAZONIAN EMPIRE The Amazon Empire as it is known today is and outgrowth of what was the Mayan Empire located in Mayanspan, capital of the 4 tribe Empire (the four tribes representing the kingly families of Cocom, Tutul-xiu, Itzá and Chele). From its beginnings the empire was known for its powerful female warriors who are said to have been granted their abilities by the Mayan War god Nacon. The women were organized into the peerless warrior class known as the Daughters of Nacon, and they proved to be keepers of the peace in the Mayan Empire down to this day. While Mayan women were indeed revered for their “divine” powers, they were largely ill treated by Mayan men, often subject to abuse and rape with little or no provocation. Such was the fate of a young servant in the royal house of Emperor Itzamna. Emperor Itzamna was considered to be the reincarnation of the Mayan sun Upon returning to Mayanspan she found the son of Emperor Itzamna sitting on his father’s throne. In a savage display of even greater and more refined power Itzel removed the boy from the throne and existence thus proclaiming herself Queen Mother of the Mayan Empire. Fearing reprisals the nation accepted Itzel’s rule and peace reigned across the Empire fore a time. Historians speculate that Queen Itzel, for whatever reason, was momentarily was dethroned, and an extremely powerful King described in Isthmian script as the true reincarnation of Ah Kinchil, ruled the Empire for a period of time. Queen Itzel is believed to have gathered the southern nations together into a single fighting force in an effort to reclaim her throne. Mass graves and burial grounds suggest that the conflict may well have claimed more lives than WWII, however the facts of the matter remain forever shrouded in mystery. It is known, however, that Queen Itzel returned to her throne after the 30 year period. The fate of the would-be conquer (now known as the “Lost Emperor”), on the other hand, is not known.
god Ah Kinchil and was highly esteemed by his people. One day, while in a drunken rage, he violently raped one of his female cup bearers name Itzel. This savage attack ultimately cost the Emperor his life as Itzel, though a very young child, lashed out at him with the first manifestations of her paranormal abilities and slew him in an instant. Court attendants attempted to put the child to death, however legend says that she was miraculously saved by a strange godlike figure who teleported her away. Itzel would not be seen again for a period of 5 years.
LOST HISTORY
Not long into her reign as Queen Mother the historical record of the Amazon Empire stops abruptly. This gap in history covers a period of approximately 30 years. Exactly what transpired during this period is not known, however there is some belief that a monumental conflict occurred known only as “The Great War.” Over the years archeologist have uncovered evidence that the Mayan Empire and the Kingdom’s to its south (what we know as South America) we engaged in what might have been the first world war in human history.

Having thrown down her would be usurper; Itzel once again became a Queen Mother, though not of the Mayan Empire only. Her queenship would extend over the people of the southern lands as well as the tribe of Itza. However the other 3 tribes of Cocom, Tutul-xiu, and Chele decided they would rather remain independent. Though Itzel could not accept this, the damage and death toll caused by The Great War, did not leave her in a position to take back the remaining tribes by force. It would take several more centuries before the remaining tribes would be reclaimed. But for the moment the Empire was once again peaceful and growing. Itzel dubbed this new nation the Amazon Empire thus forming the largest matriarchal society the world has ever known.
MODERN HISTORY
By the 17th century the Amazon Empire had miraculously regained its former strength (referring to its origins as the Mayan Empire) and more. Never in history and an Empire fallen so far and recovered so much. The nation now stretched from
In the dark days following the Mexican revolution of the late 19th and early 20th century the Amazon Empire once again found itself in crisis.

Queen Ix Chel VI had only one female child (four sons), Princess Toci VII. Traditionally the daughter of the Queen would be in line to inherit the throne. However, that would only be the case if the child had “the gift of the powerful ones”, which is to say the child had to be paranormal. In fact no queen had ever failed to produce a daughter who did not have divine gifts. That is until Princess Toci VII. It was believed that the Princess would eventually develop her gifts, however she never did. For the first time in centuries, the royal bloodline was threatened. Queen Ix Chel VI was now approaching the end of her child bearing years and Toci, now 14, had still not displayed any special gifts. After some time, however, Ix Chel VII was born and the nation rejoiced. But that joy was short lived.
